Welcome to my psychology practice for young children and the adults who care for them. I am specialized in working with preschool and kindergarten aged children, but I have experience with and welcome children through elementary school.

I am here to offer you support through an array of consultation and therapy services.
I have a unique perspective on children's growth and development. I believe that social and emotional development is intricately connected to growth in other areas of a child's life, including intellectual growth. My services thus focus on improving relationships among children and their parents, teachers, and peers, and helping children build social and emotional skills, so that they can thrive.
I also believe that many difficult behaviors exhibited by children are related to self-regulation, or the way that they manage strong emotions and uncomfortable sensations. I thereby focus on understanding a child's self-regulation cues (e.g., behavioral indications that children are attempting to cope with stress), and look for alternative explanations for children's behaviors that go beyond labels and diagnoses.
By understanding the underlying causes of children's behavior and identifying different ways for the adults to respond, I can help families (and teachers!) make the shift out of distressing interactions to ones that feel better to everyone.
My services are developmentally respectful, strength based and take the entire relational context of the child- and his family- into account.
